Hi, I’m Matthew R. Van Slyke—a massage therapy student, fitness enthusiast, and wellness advocate. With a background in live theatre and a strong personal commitment to physical health, I bring a unique, whole-body approach to massage therapy.

Whether I’m tracking my meals, practicing mindfulness through meditation and yoga, or lifting at the gym, I believe in caring for the body with intention. That same philosophy guides my massage practice: thoughtful, focused bodywork tailored to your needs—whether you’re managing pain, healing from stress, or enhancing performance. 

I’m currently completing my training in medical massage therapy and will be offering services upon licensure in October of 2025.

This space is here to introduce you to my practice, share my approach to wellness, and connect with those seeking restorative care.

Before massage therapy, I spent years immersed in the performing arts—working as an actor and stage manager. Through that work, I developed not only a deep appreciation for the human body’s endurance but also firsthand experience with the toll physical and emotional stress can take.

Over time, I became more intentional about my own wellness—embracing meal prepping, strength training, and consistent gym routines to stay strong and centered. That dedication to personal health opened the door to massage therapy, where I found a powerful way to support others on their own paths to feeling better in their bodies.

Now, as I complete my medical massage therapy education, my goal is to blend clinical skill with compassionate care. I aim to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and genuinely helped—whether they’re recovering from strain, looking to improve mobility, or simply needing a reset.

This work is personal to me—and I can’t wait to bring that energy to you.
